From the Christopher Phillips Rare Seed Collection R3--Release #3 on October 14, 2014. This is one of many of Christopher Phillips' pequin strains from his vast collection. This annuum variety originating in Mexico is very beautiful with very dark green foliage that grows sort of wispy. It produces very small oval pods with nice heat and flavor. It's a real stand-out in the garden!
